Engineering Graduate Student • Target: Mechanical/Robotic Engineering Internship / Aeronautical Design
Skilled and creative engineering graduate student with a diverse background spanning medicine, robotics, performance vehicles, aeronautics, and multicopters. Completed first year of medical school before pursuing the mechanical engineering track following continued personal focus on mechanical design and fabrication.
An exhaustive education in anatomy and physiology lends towards an intuitive ability to solve mechanical problems with organic form-and-function design. Researched, built, and experienced across diverse fabrication modalities: machining, welding, forging metal, fiberglass, resin, molded plastics, carpentry, and ceramics.
Brings lifelong aeronautical experience, logging flight hours since grade school, weekly kit-plane engineering at KFGX airport, high-performance vehicle ECU calibration, and embedded microcontroller programming for robotics and animatronics.
Continued work at Savard’s KFGX maintenance hangar problem-solving for custom and experimental aircraft without standard solutions due to component availability. Design novel sensor arrays, diagnostic test equipment, telemetry data logging, and provide high-level data analysis and computer simulations for aircraft owners under the guidance of certified mechanics.
Full-cycle drone fabrication and additive manufacturing projects for a small aircraft group utilizing Piper aircraft for flight instruction, commercial advertising, cinematography, and competitive air-racing events.
Matriculated directly from medical field by Dean of CEAS.
